Maxi Köhli-Rohde

I’m Maxi Rohde, an experienced PLC programmer with a strong background in industrial automation. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work around the globe—from China to the USA, and the Netherlands as well. Being the only engineer on-site has challenged and strengthened my problem-solving skills, while also fueling my “get it done” attitude. My main focus has been on commissioning large, complex flexographic printing machines—often the size of a truck—but I’ve also enjoyed tackling smaller projects that offered fresh challenges and kept things dynamic. I work confidently with Siemens platforms such as TIA Portal and Simatic S7-300/400 and 1200/1500, as well as SIMOTION and WinCC Flexible. My experience also extends to CODESYS-based PLCs and integrating Schneider drive technology like the Lexium 32 using the OpenPLC Motion Library. I speak both German and English, and when I’m not working, I enjoy traveling and playing tennis.
